bittersweet victory
We did it! My boy is going to get the help he needs! He's transferring schools and going into a program that implements the Wilson Reading Program and Read Naturally. They also do cool stuff like The Jason Project.
What an ordeal! He's excited--anxious, but excited. I'm really going to miss him going to his home school with his sister, and I'm not sure how this is going to affect her. At least, they both have a great outlook about it. I'm going to miss his teacher.
If you didn't see the magic in him, this wouldn't have happened. I'm sorry he only had you for a semester.
Mary Mary thank you thank you!
In fact, we would not have made it this far without all his teachers, friends and family. I'd like to thank everyone!
Mary Ellen, we did it! What a struggle last year!
Dr. Levinson's diagnosis still stands! I know she's looking down on us and smiling.
Marilyn, you know I go to you for everything.
Of course, mom for your love and bottomless pocketbook! Hey, you're lucky I have conscience. Otherwise, I'd take your bedroom and make you live in the basement. OOOOPPPPS!
Okay, I have to go. The kids are waiting for me. Love you guys! =) h
